The goal of the library is to provide a full range of technical and professional support to the students, and its school’s community. In addition, the Worthing Library provides integrated services in order to enable teachers to enhance the quality of instruction and leadership, to improve student achievement and information literacy. The Worthing Library provides services beginning at the first scheduled class of the day. Student access starts at 8:30 a.m., and is suspended at 5:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesday, Thursdays, and Fridays. Wednesday’s schedule is 8:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The Worthing Library is available during all campus scheduled classes, including all lunch periods. An official classroom permit, endorsed by a teacher allows students privilege to the library during class time. Students are allowed to visit the library at their discretion during lunch period to browse for books, study, or relax with library materials. An officially endorsed permit, and a class assignment, gives any student the opportunity for computer usage during their lunch. John Baldwin, Librarian
